What a blessing to spend the holiday with family and enjoying all this great food.
Well I was hoping to write this post earlier but I realized that I am always thankful so there is no time like the present.
So often I get caught up rushing and planning and doing and thinking and I let one little thing ruin my day and go to bed with regrets. When I need to slow down, catch my breath and reflect on the enormity of my blessings. I have so many but I will share a few that are on top right now.
I am thankful for…
- My mother who shaped me into the woman I am today. I love her and miss her very much.
- My husband who really is my best friend and supports me in all that I aspire to achieve.
- My boys who I am my number one source of pride. Their hugs and kisses and silly laughs are forever implanted in my brain.
- My sister who I confide in regularly and who I quite often causes me to nearly pee my pants when she makes me laugh.
- My extended family who inspire me on a regular basis with their achievements and aspirations.
- My current fitness routine which is keeping me healthy and a lot happier.
- My company, Belinda’s Crafts. Although it is at it’s at infant stages, it brings me great joy to be blessed with the opportunity to pursue a passion of mine.
- My girlfriends for making me so very happy and put up with me dropping out of communication for periods of time when life gets too crazy.
- My spiritual practice that is bringing more love and compassion into my life.
- My craft room (yes a room) that is my daily source of inspiration. Especially when it is filled with the sunlight. I love working in it each day and being among all my crafty things.
So make sure you don’t just be thankful for Thanksgiving. Let’s all aspire to being thankful each day.
