Summertime at Mo’s Challenge Entry – #187

Hello Everyone!

I am so excited to share my latest entry for Mo’s Digital challenge. I couldn’t resist because the theme is Summertime and she has the cutest summer digis.

My latest entry for Mo's digital contest.

I even found some shells around the house to use as props. The big one on the left is from  my vacation with my best friend to Jamaica.

Loads of fun playing around with the images and coloring them up with my Copics. I also got a chance to cut a cute title from my brand spankin’ new Silhouette!! I used my Heidi Swapp color shine on the water and paper pierced the water and sand.

I want to eat her popsicle!!

I added dimension by coloring up a second set of sunglasses and curling the edges. For the popsicle and used dimensional dots and put glossy accents on it for shine.

Card ingredients:

Copics: Due to lack of time, I didn’t right down what I used. Sorry.

Digital Stamps: beach (includes tons of elements), Summer boy, summer girl, beach pail (from beach)

Silhouette: Hello Summer

Other:  Glossy accents, Heidi Swapp Color Shine (mint green)

Thanks for visiting!

Emboss it with Mo Challenge #169

Here is my latest entry for Mo’s Digital’s Weekly Challenge.

‘On Your Special day’

I have been wanting to use this digital image from Mo for a long time. I love her pretty little dress. So this contest presented me with a great excuse to play with it in my craft room.  I used one of my shapeabilities dies that I haven’t used nearly enough and then embossed it.  I added some rhinestones to it for some bling.  I colored up Cupcake Princess Sienna with my Copics and cut her out before putting her on the card.

Here is the inside of the card.

Lately these colors seem to be jumping up in all of my projects. My other markers are feeling neglect! I suppose this too shall pass.

Card Ingredients:

  • Paper: Prima Madeline Collection,  fushia cardstock
  • Stamps: Mo’s Cupcake Princess Sienna (digital), Penny Blacks Gratitude set
  • Shapeabilities: Blossoms and accents
  • Cuttlebug embossing folder: D’Vine Swirl
  • Inks: Momento Rich Coacoa, Tuxedo Black
  • Stickles: Cotton Candy
  • Copics: RV11, RV17, E00, E11, E13, E25, E79, BG13, BG18, Y17

My first card in the new year.

This card was made with an adorable image from MFT’s Pure Innocence line of stamps. This one’s called A Box of Love. She’s holding my favorite sweet – chocolate!

What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday – #175

Hello Everyone! I hope you are all well. I am feeling super happy because on Saturday morning my girlfriends are picking me up and we are going to an all day crop.  Love it!! A day filled with great conversations, loads of laughs and tons of great products at our fingertips (it will be held at a store).  So nothing pretty much should ruin this week while I daydream of the fun.  When you have two little ones around, crops are like little pieces of heaven.

Ok, no desk photo today but I want to share what I have been working on – a card for a card contest. I wouldn’t normally enter, I am more of a watcher. I always read the contests and that voice of mine talks me out of it but my dear friend Ashley pushed me to do it and it was just what I needed to squelch that procrastinator bug I get when I am scared of doing something.

My first card for a card contest.

If you click here you can see more about this card.  That is all I have to share today. Which is probably rather refreshing since I tend to ramble these days.

If you haven’t learned about this amazing creative journey you can take every Wednesday, then head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Have a blessed day!

Belinda
