What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday – #220

Hello Everyone!

Stamping up images for fall line of paper products.

Stamping up images for fall line of paper products.

Happy WOYWW! Last week I received visits from some great people and it sure felt nice.  Thanks for taking the time to write a thing or two to me.  I enjoy reading them.

I am in a bit of a funk…I don’t know if I told you but I hurt my left foot a while back and have been seeing a doctor to figure out what to do.  I don’t even know when and how I did it but I ignored it for longer than I should (because I am superwoman after all) and now I think I am paying for that.  I went for x-rays and a lot of really bad stuff was ruled out but now she is thinking I either tore something or it’s on the verge of it. So it has been wrapped and I am wearing inner soles in my sneakers to see if we can heal it.  I hate the waiting and wondering when it will be better.

Enough of my sob story and on to my desk.  The boys start back to school in a few weeks so I am getting organized to create a fall line of paper products for my Etsy store which has been abandoned all summer.  So I am stamping up images and preparing to color them up for some cards.

Love love love these stamps

Love love love these stamps

I am using some of my favorite stamps from Flourishes.  They are so pretty even if you don’t feel like coloring them.  Beautiful detail.  My desk is a mess so I spared you a wider view.

Well I have taken up too much time and since I shouldn’t be moving around a lot, I will definitely be visiting desks over the next few days.

If you haven’t learned about this amazing creative journey you can take every Wednesday, then head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Have a blessed day!

Belinda

  4. Great space, Belinda, and I love those images. I’ll have to check out the Flourishes stamps. Sorry about your foot. My Mister is going through that, too. Just sudden onset and it is looking like plantar fasciitis … not sure how to spell it. Have they ruled that out? I hope you get a diagnosis soon and can start physical therapy or something to make it better. Thank you for the visit to the Playhouse! Happy WOYWW! Darnell #16

  17. Sure hope your foot feels better soon! Love those images you have stamped, wish I could sit in that chair in my garden with a cup of tea right now! I see you have the Pink atg gun. I have it, but am not good at using it. Maybe I will take it out again and practice after seeing yours! Enjoy the week! Winnie#89

  18. Belinda, thank you for your lovely visit to my blog today! It’s morning here, and I’m just getting around to all the posts now. I am so inspired that you have an Etsy store–you’re the third person I’ve visited today with a mention of Etsy–it must be a sign that I need to start my store! It’s surprisingly difficult on a person when your foot hurts–you’d never think it would affect you that much. But once I had plantar fascitis that made my arch and heel have horrible pain for months. Then, it just went away! So I hope you get better quickly dear. Hugs! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #9

  19. Those are indeed some beautiful images. They made me think of my grandmother. She loved detailed stamps as she love to sit and color for hours. Sorry to hear about your foot. I have to tell you that I *hate* it when you injure yourself and don’t remember where or how. It is like no one believes you. Well, I believe you because I do it all the time. Not quite so thoroughly though…!

  20. Oh yu poor thing..it’s the not knowing and also the indefinite-ness isn’t it. hope the supports are a help. I agree about the images, they are lovely. and what fab therapy the colouring will be.

  21. I wasn’t here last week, away with the dogs (I dog/house sit!) and seeing that stamped out chair made me think oooh I wish they had chairs like that in the house where we stayed! They look so cosy and comfortable! Hope your foot gets better soon, I’m sure rest will help a lot! (but not too much!!) Thank you for my snoop!!
    Happy WOYWW!

  23. Hope your foot heals soon. I think most women wait “too” long as we have other “priorities” it seems. Happy belated WOYWW!
