What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday – #508

Good morning to my crafty WOYWW friends! For those of you that aren’t familiar with WOYWW (What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday), head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world where we get to snoop on other crafter’s desks.

Hello! I first must apologize because a few weeks back when I last posted, I was unable to visit all of the desks of all of you that popped by. I plan on rectifying that this week.

Today’s desk not so bad because I cleaned it up a few days ago. Otherwise it would be pure chaos right now. I’m sorry the photo is a little blurry. Today I am sharing another coloring page and this time from the coloring book, “Die Welt unter der Lupe zu Lande by Rita Berman. I love her coloring books so much that I plan on collecting them all. First off, the size of the book is perfect (roughly 8 x 8 inches). It’s not to small and not too big. The images are so pretty that they make you want to color them. I am almost through with this page. Once color the remaining flowers, then I think I will color a table to ground the items. This page will help me get closer to my goal of coloring at least one page in all of my coloring books in 2019. I will share with you the finished page that I shared last time later this week. I meant to post it Monday but that didn’t happen.

Also on my desk is my new collapsible water cup (It’s the green thing) for water coloring. I am loving it and it has a curvy top to rest my brush on.  You can see I still haven’t had time to play with the new distress oxide inks because they are still un-opened. I also still need to test out those new embossing folders from Park Lane and an old die I bought ages ago from WPlus9.

You can also see I took out my Brushos so I can play with them. The ephemera in the package is new and for use in my bullet journals. (I am a sucker for flowers.)

I hope you all are well and can’t wait to see what you are working on.

  1. The light in your room is lovely Belinda, as is your colouring, absolutely gorgeous. You are more patient than I!

  2. What a super shot of your desk Belinda, beautiful colouring too. I have one of those collapsible cups I find it’s perfect for on the go crafting and so handy to rest our paint brushes. Hope you share what you get up to with those brusho’s.

    • A friend of mine had one and I have been meaning to buy one. Anything to take reduce the bulk when I go to crops. The wavy top is just a bonus.

  3. Belinda that is a lovely photo of your desk, it looks lovely. I’m not into colouring but I also love flowers, stamps, die cuts etc.
I’ve started to my brushos too after leaving them untouched for so long.
    Have a great week
    Jan. No 25

    • Hi Jan! I remember when I bought the Brushos and I played with them and then put them away and actually forgot about them until I saw them on a video on YouTube. So I am hoping to actually use them this time around.

  4. Hi Belinda, I too am enjoying colouring books, for myself it is more to gain practice with coloured pencils, to be able to colour images for cards better. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 X

    • Hi Shaz! How are you lady? I haven’t used my colored pencils on cards yet. I typically use my Copics but this year I plan on trying both!

  5. What gorgeous colouring! The colours are so soft and pretty and perfect for the afternoon tea party on the page. That collapsible cup is a great idea, handy for picnics too!

Super colouring! I can imagine it’s very therapeutic! Wishing you a lovely week! zsuzsa #18

      • It is really relaxing. Coloring with colored pencils is a slow process and I am learning to enjoy the process rather than rush to finish.

  9. I miss you! Xo. I showed Rosie your beautiful coloring and she said “oh, she’s so pretty.” Take it as you want… 🙂

    • I miss you too. I just saw your email yesterday. Tell Rosie thank you and naturally I will take it both ways!! Tell her this summer she and I will color together on my deck. Soon it will be count down until our creative escape!! xoxo

Very pretty colouring. I wax and wane with my colouring, and I have several books (bought for me) but I don’t really care for the pictures. It’s good you’ve found a designer you like. Happy Wednesda, Cindy #17

    • Hey Cindy! I found that as with most hobbies, that once you connect with the community you find more resources. So I have been introduced to great coloring books from YouTube. There are a lot I don’t like but I know what I like so I only buy them. Maybe you will see one you like in one of my posts and then you will be hooked!!

  11. Great colouring, I think these books are a great way to relax. Have a great woyww, what’s left of it and a happy creative week, Angela x14x

  12. So much to look at this week Belinda. Love your colouring technique, it is really delicate and so well blended. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
