Finding footprints

Hello Everyone! I thought it would be fun to share a photo I took yesterday when I came home from picking up the boys from school.

First let me say while I think that snow is beautiful to look at and there is nothing as pretty as the sparkle right after a snow fall. However, as I am getting older, I am not feeling so warm and fuzzy about that white stuff.

But despite my indifference, I still have a habit that I started long ago that keeps me finding snow fascinating.

The snow allows me to see what animals travel along my yard throughout the day and evening.  I love trying to guess the bird or if it’s a cat or a squirrel. I even have started bringing the boys into the play and ask them what kind of animal left the tracks and what do they they were doing or going. It’s lots of fun to hear their responses.

This picture is of bird prints we found on one of our retaining walls in our yard. I had to get close up to make sure I captured the cute little prints.

So I guess I have to admit there is still a small part of me that still enjoys the white stuff!

Hope you have a blessed day!

Resurfacing

Wow, three days with our family down with who knows-what-they-call-it illnesses. It began with Apollo and spread through the family. So I missed work for two days and am scrambling to salvage my deadlines while still shaking whatever this thing that rushed in and took over our family. I would share a nice photo of my craft room today but it is so chaotic right now.  I will spare you the sight.

I did manage to photograph some new cards from my Valentine’s collection that will be up in the shop shortly and managed to write and post a new project – Belinda’s Book Nook  in the Projects section of this site.  I will be updating this section regularly or should  I say as fast as I can complete reading each book and share my thoughts and experiences with all of the books I manage to read this year.  I read a wide range of books so you will be sure to find one you will want to pick up yourself.

Well enough of my catch up for now, I am going to try and wrap up some more work before I have to go pick up the boys.

Have a blessed day.
