What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday – #496

Good morning to my crafty WOYWW friends! For those of you that aren’t familiar with WOYWW (What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday), head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world where we get to snoop on other crafter’s desks.

Hello friends! It’s a sunny morning here but bitterly cold. Great day to be inside reading or crafting — my two favorite things to do. I thought I would start off with a photo of one of my display shelves. I brought out my little village from last year for some holiday decor in my craft room. I love the simple white with a tiny touch of red and green. It makes me happy every time I pass by them.

The sunlight is making my photo have a funny glow to it. So my apologies up first. On my desk, you will see a pile of cardstock I bought on sale for a few silhouette projects. You can also see some little trees I found on sale at our local craft store that I intend on using with more little villages I will create on my Silhouette. I couldn’t decide which colors of the little trees I wanted but the sale price made it easy for me to buy them all.

On the right of the cardstock you can see a cute 3D art cut file I just cut on my silhouette. I want to put it on the shelf next to the little village. When I finish assembling it, I will share a photo. To the right of the cut files, you can see my last years score from Target — Christmas paper pads. They are so cute and they were only $3. I took them out to inspire me and use them to make something. You can also see some new Distress Oxide ink pads. I have yet to try them.

I am going to try to keep this brief so I can visit you ladies. I was terrible last week making my rounds because I was trying to finish my commission project(Which is complete and I will share some photos next week). So I shall make up for it now.

Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful day!

Belinda

  3. I love your shelf! I haven’t got any of my Christmas decorations out yet (no room for a tree) but might try at the weekend. have a great week. Helen #3

  4. Aw Belinda, the village is a gorgeous creation, it makes me smile too. Love the bottle brush trees fromTarget, I can see this being a growing community, how clever you are with the cut files! I like to see the flare of sunshine on any desk, otherwise it will be a long winter, make the most, huh!

  5. Hi Belinda! Your paper village is adorable – I just love paper houses. I have a Silhouette as well but haven’t used it in a while. Last time I used it I made some paper houses too! Perhaps it’s time to dust it off again! I use it so infrequently that every time I connect it, there’s a software update. Thanks so much for your visit earlier and your lovely comments! Hope you have a good week! zsuzsa #6 (@InkyDinkyDoodle)
