What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday – #228

Hello Everyone!  I hope you all are feeling happy today. If not for any other reason then the fact we get to snoop! I am feeling very happy because I am keeping my promise I made on my new blog series, Confessions of a Scrapbook Kit Hoarder and have been creating cards and my first scrapbook LO in a long time. So if you have time to snoop, please feel free to check it out and push me. My friends, April Daqa, and Ria have given me a a nudge or two. (Thanks ladies, it has been very helpful receiving your encouragement.)

On to my desk today.  Well I am working on another card and the photo back there is for another LO I will be working on soon.  Tucked next to my lamp is a few cards, one  birthday card I just entered into a card challenge. I am working on the card you see on the desk for my Etsy shop.

As you can see I still haven’t bought another Copics case for my overflow of markers. I filled the first bag quite some time ago and store the excess in these clear compartments. I am waiting for the price to go down before I make the commitment. I received my first case when I received my Copics training so I don’t feel like paying for the second myself. Don’t want to cut into my crafting budget for a storage bag. So I suffer with the inconvenience when I want to move to another room or go to crop.  Enough of my whining…

If you haven’t learned about this amazing creative journey you can take every Wednesday, then head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Hi Belinda,

Thanks for visiting me already! You really made me laugh!!

I saw some Copics on sale at Hobby Lobby. I don’t own any but was curious if they ever dry out. Maybe I should have bought a few because they were a little over $1!

I love the card you are working on – is that Mary E. paper?

Congrats on making progress on your LO stash! Once I’m organized (haaa) I’ll be going through my stash and use it up!

    Happy WOYWW
    Peace, Kay (43)

  2. Looks like some lovely card bits, Belinda! Sometimes I have to make myself use up what I have, too–it can be an inspiration to get new supplies, but, well, what’s the point of hoarding, right?

    🙂
    Happy WOYWW to you!

  5. Hi Belinda
you are doing so well and I am really pleased for you that you have managed to get started. It is always the getting started that is the hardest.
Happy WOYWW have an enjoyable week hugs Ria #22

  6. Beautful colouring! I don’t blame you on the storage, I think the prices of ‘craft’ storage items is disgaceful, generally. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #29 xx

  7. Congratulations on making a start on using that stash. Keep it up! I don’t blame you for not buying storage…they can be over priced. Your solution seems to work well enough. Thanks for sharing. Happy WOYWW. Caro x (#12)

  8. It seems to me there must be another storage solution for copics that would be less expensive. Maybe some kind of pencil holder case?

Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier and for the nice comments.

    Happy Woyww,

    Sandy #38

  9. A lady after my own heart. I desperately need some more pen storage but would rather buy the pretty things I can play with instead!!
