What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday – #223

Hi everyone!  I hope you all are well. I missed last week due to school starting for the boys and me in search of some semblance of a routine. This week is their first full week and we are slowly finding our way to structure!

Busy desk!

Busy desk!

Now that the boys are back in school I am back to my work schedule to make products for my Etsy store. I ended up taking the summer off to enjoy my family. But I am ready to get back into all my craft supplies  to play and make stuff.

On my desk you can see that I am working on a Halloween card for the shop.  You can also see  a few images I need to color up for cards.  In the middle of the desk, is a big pile of birthday cards my son received at his birthday party this weekend. I am going to make some thank you cards to go along with his theme, “Monster’s University”.  I put them there to force me to make it happen sooner rather than later, but as you will see in the next photo I shoved them to the side so I could procrastinate….

Cutting up my new rubber stamps.

Cutting up my new rubber stamps.

Because everyone knows I must cut up my new rubber stamps instead of writing ‘thank you’ cards.  I don’t remember the proper etiquette but I will get them off within two weeks. I promise…

I found some new orthodics and some shoes and my feet feel like they are actually on the mend.  Before they felt so bad I had to pop Advil every six hours. Now I might take one during the day.  So I am hopeful.

Our weather here is quite strange, just barely 70 degrees F (shamefully I can’t convert for you over the pond) and today it is suppose to get into the mid 90s. I am a fall girl. I love everything about it so I wish this nonsense would end and get on with it.

Enough of my babbling. On to more interesting things—-your lovely desks!!

If you haven’t learned about this amazing creative journey you can take every Wednesday, then head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Have a blessed day!

Belinda

  1. It looks like you a re doing a very neat job trimming those stamps. Not one of my favourite jobs…. but necessary. Have a lovely week.

  2. Of course you needed to cut out those stamps…I use an on line converter to see what the temps and weights are in other countries. Glad to hear you have your feet sorted, nothing worse than sore feet. Namesake #43

  3. Happy WOYWW! And YAY for new rubber!!!

  4. Hi Belinda thank you for popping by. I am going to be doing a Christmas Countdown tag workshop with the Theresa Collins Christmas Cottage Papers – I hope t get time to start on that tomorrow. Hope you are making progress with your Halloween Cards. I say playing with new stamps comes first of course!!! 😉 Happy WOYWW to you from Helen 65

  5. I really hate doing the adding of rubbery stuff to stamps and cutting them out, I still have some House Mouse stamps I won last year I haven’t done yet, must sort them out for this Christmas, me thinks! Thanks for my snoop! HaPpY WoYwW?!

  6. Looks like you are having fun at your desk – naturally sorting out your stamps comes first – they might not speak to you if you ignore them !! Ali #122

  7. It definitely can take a while to settle back into back to school after being in holiday mode……It looks like you have lots of wonderful new stamps and I agree yes they would have to come first here too! Have a great week! Danie #48

  8. So glad your feet are becoming more comfortable, most important ! and that a routine may be appearing, honestly, it’s so. Much easier isn’t it. And of course you should see to your new stamps first…crikey, the thank-you receivers will never know!!

  9. Hi Belinda, stamps must take priority, haha!

I love this font, how did you do it?

I wear Kalso Earth shoes but I haven’t bought any new for a long time, the supplier went bust, and I found a new one but they don’t seem to have all the sort of styles and at the sale prices. I am not working now and they are expensive to buy.

  10. I’m a fellow feet sufferer – got orthotics too and now having to spend mega bucks to buy shoes for the latest pair but they are the best I have ever had in the 20 or so years I have had them. Good luck with yours.
    Enjoy your makes.
Hugs, Neet 113 (and thanks for the visit you made to me. I am so late!)

  11. Hey I would of cut up those stamps too, so don’t feel bad. Glad to hear the shoes and orthotics are doing their job, nothing worse than pain.

Thanks for visiting me, sorry I am getting back so late, working horrible hours and not much left at all.

    Happy belated WOYWW
