What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday – #199

Hello!! I hope you are all doing well. It is Tuesday night and I am typing this post early as usual. I don’t have time to do it on Wednesday’s but let’s just say, nothing is going to change on my desk between Tuesday night and Wednesday. So that being said, here is a peek:

Copic Coloring practice

Copic Coloring practice

I have decided to really buckle down and practice my coloring to get to the next level. So today I hunkered down with tea, music and my markers. I colored the clouds and some suns.  Tomorrow I will do a little more and so on. I tend to practice in spurts so I want something more consistent.

I also wanted to say I had a blast on my recent craft retreat.

Choose Happy!

I was able to work on several projects. I made this mini album. You can see more here!

Well I am off to go snoop around the globe.

If you haven’t learned about this amazing creative journey you can take every Wednesday, then head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Have a blessed day!

  1. Practice does make perfect… the clouds and suns are looking great… and I love the look of that mini-album too. I’ve missed a few weeks, but happy to be back (and this time with my mother in tow!)… Happy WOYWW!

  3. A crafty retreat sounds good. Love the look of your mini album and I will go and take a proper look. I too need to practice my colouring. It is on my very long list of what I should do.!!! Happy WOYWW Anne x #84

  4. Yip, it does take some getting used to those markers. Love what you are doing with them though. Thanks for the visit already.

  5. Oh blooming good for you Belinda. I’ve stopped using my Copics because I need to practice in a constructed manner and I just don’t make the time. Glad you enjoyed your craft retreat..they are amazingly good for one, huh!

  6. I have not seen anyone practice their colouring in this way, what a good idea. Are those colouring sheets that you print off to do or is it something you did yourself.
Your mini album looks fantastic and your time away sounds as if it was fun
Wishing you a very Happy Easter and a great day today

    • Hi Ria! No I did not draw them. I printed them off from an online class I took a while back. I usually “practice” when I create stuff but I thought proper practice might push me to the next level hence the sheets.

  7. nice to meet you Belinda! I love your mini album, I do have a weakness for them, time for me to make another I think! Your retreat sounds fun!
