What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday – #188

Hello Friends and Happy New Year!  I missed seeing all of your creative goodness the passed few weeks while on vacation.  But I am back and ready to play. Unfortunately, at the end of my vacation I managed to catch a bad cold and have spent all of last week and the beginning of this one coughing myself to sleep.  Yuk!  So I haven’t been able to jump right in to all the projects I had dreamed up while away for each day, exhaustion takes hold.

The start of some new things on my desk.

On to my desk, well on the left you can see some stamps I am gathering. I am trying to decide whether I want to make my own Project Life cards or buy them like I usually do. I have a box of Journaling cards from last year, that  did not use so I don’t even have to cut the paper. I just need to ink and stamp.  I know it will be economically smart to make my own but will I stick with it? Or should I make a whole bunch while watching TV and then have them ready?  Hmmm.. so much to think about.

In the middle of the screen I have a box containing my recent cutting phase with my Cricut. I cut up a bunch of Valentines images and now you can see me playing around with different inks before I use them on some cards. I am using Distress  inks and Pigment inks and I also have a great new embossing folder that says love to use on them.  I will share photos when I complete some cards.

Well I am off to go see what you all have been up to while I was away!

If you haven’t learned about this amazing creative journey you can take every Wednesday, then head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Have a blessed day!

Belinda

Looks like you are busy. I always find journal cards seem like they are right until you want to use it and then it doesn’t quite go with what you want! I tend to make my own using card and papers that match. Loving you locks. Take care. Zo xx 43

  4. Belinda, I am so sorry to hear of your cold and cough–I know that can be miserable! But you have some pretty and happy things on your desk to brighten your day. I love projects with hearts! And you sound like me when I’m trying to decide if I want to use something that’s ready to go, or do it by hand watching my TV shows! I do hope you get to do some art journaling…I think it’s really just a matter of having the journal always handy, and then spending however much time or however little time you can each day, and before you know it, you have these pages you love to look at! Happy WOYWW! Sandy Leigh #104
