What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday – #195

A quick close up of my desk today.

A quick close up of my desk today.

Hello my people!  How are you?  Once again the week flew by, vacation is over and the boys are back in school.  So back to work for me.

I have been saying I need to work on my coloring more but when I look back at my last few WOYWW posts, I realize I actually am coloring.  Today I was playing around with some Easter images and practicing  adding grasses, grounds and sky to my images.  It is official, I need another Copic case. I have filled the little one I have and sitting with the decision of whether I buy another 72-pen case or go for the gusto and buy the big one. My dilema is that I like this size when I go to crops, It fits nice on my work table without taking so much space but I know I will continue buying markers so I better figure it out. I am open to any thoughts.

Scrappymo asked me last week for a wider shot of my desk. So I held breath and stepped back today so you can see a little more of my craft room.

Yes, my favorite color is green hence the wall color. I love my desk. I bought it because it has such a large work surface. Ask me when is the last time I saw all that surface.  Take a look and you have your answer!

I also completed a card for a contest but just missed the deadline. You can see it here in another post.

Well I have some appointments in the morning but plan on snooping around the globe at your desks in the evening and over the next few days.

If you haven’t learned about this amazing creative journey you can take every Wednesday, then head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Have a blessed day!

Fairy Time – New card!

Hello everyone!  I have a new card I made to share with you.  I originally created it for a contest but missed the deadline. However, I still can share it with you.

I bought a bunch of fairies a while back and finally colored up my first one. Brings me back to when I would sit as a little girl and watch all the fairies in Disney cartoons with so much joy in my heart.

What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday – #194

Hey girls (and guys)!  I hope it’s not cheatin’ if the picture is actually taken on Tuesday. I would like to think I am an efficient crafter but let’s face it, I’m not and things can drag on for days!! So my confession – it’s Tuesday when I write most of my posts and take the pictures. With the time difference it is the only way to make it on the list at Julia’s and hope for visits. So that’s my little secret!

A little bit of this and a little bit of that!

A little bit of this and a little bit of that!

Two weeks in a row with the white desktop showing thru, I am rather impressed with myself.  However, the rest of my craft room needs some TLC.  On the left is my new Crafter’s Companion case I am decorating. It holds all my yummy Die-namics dies.  Love it.  Some Tim Holtz hangers I plan to use on an upcoming project, my favorite tea mug with a drop left of this new echinacea tea.  Oh my newest fiskars’ punches. One is a butterfly and the other is a ticket punch. I truly can’t wait to play with them.

I completed two more cards yesterday. One for a dear friend and one for  my shop.  As you can see I am in the middle of a coloring session. Love my Copics and love my stamps. These images are Gorjuss girls.

You can also see some of newest paper pads. I love seeing them lay out this way, very inspiring.   Oh and you can see some of my Easter dies peeking from the bottom of the image.

Card for a friend.

I'm here for you...

I’m here for you…

Hello Everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. We had a nice weekend with the boys.  Except  Sunday I was blown away by the season finale of one of my favorite shows – Downton Abbey.  I won’t spoil it for any of you that hasn’t watched it yet. Just grab a kleenex. I’m just sayin’.

This week is our February vacation from school so I have reduced my workload and spending more time with the boys. It’s a delicate balance. Today we went out for lunch and they bought some new books (my kids are bookworms like me!).  But I digress…

I began the post with the intention of sharing a recent card I made for my dear friend. I liked it so much I am thinking of making some for my shop.
