Hello everyone! Wow the weeks are really flying. I just felt like it was yesterday I sat to write my weekly WOYWW post. First, I want to say thank you to all the lovely ladies that took the time to read my post last week and respond with nice comments. I thought my long hiatus might not encourage any visitors but you surprised me and made me smile. Thank you again.
Well school is winding down for the boys. They have 11 !days left. We are getting out late due to the snow this year. Yuck!
I have been using my new Silhouette that I received early for my upcoming birthday! I am notorious for picking my gift out and asking my husband to get it and often earlier than the actual day. I just couldn’t wait and the deals on the Silhouette have been fantastic. Anyway, I digress….I wanted to make a little something for all the teachers for the boys so I found a really cute cut file on the Silhouette store to cut out a cover for post-it notes and then I also cut out some of my digi images and colored them up with my Copics. I have 4 more (one for our school secretary. She is new this year and I really like her.) to make and then I will have them ready for the last week of school.
I went to Michael’s and bought some little Velcros to allow the cover to close properly. It was the finishing touch to a cute little project that took no time at all to complete.
I have to pick up a few more post it pads and then I will be able to say I have completed this project. After that I will complete the bigger project I am working on for my son’s third-grade teacher. After that more coloring and some cards. I have some ideas I have been kicking around and think I better just get on it. The weather has not been very motivating. It has been raining for days and heavy much of the time. I think Friday we should see some clearing. Rain makes me want to read more than craft.
Well I am off to see what you have been up to in the passed week.
If you haven’t learned about this amazing creative journey you can take every Wednesday, then head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.
Have a blessed day!
Belinda

Good morning, Belinda, thanks for visiting. Your teacher gifts are absolutely adorable. I keep thinking I don’t need an electronic cutter until I see the cute things everyone makes with them. My daughter is finished with school next week — this year went by fast. Wishing you a blessed day, too. ~ Laura #101
I love the gifts you made for your children’s teachers. As a retired teacher, I know they will be appreciated.
Have a wonderful week.. Hope the sun comes out and you can enjoy crafting – but reading is fun too!. (#108)

Such cute post-it note holders! Bet the teachers will love them! I’m kinda envious of your cooler weather and rain. Our rains should come first of July and bring some relief from the heat. Thanks for visiting and happy WOYWW!
