What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday – #198

Hello Everyone!

My initial planning

My initial planning

I hope you all are well.  We just had another storm here in the north eastern US again.  Snow. I am so ready for it to be over and spring to truly appear.

I am in extra happy spirits for many reasons today, one is that I reached my first year anniversary selling online at Belinda’s Crafts on Monday.

Another reason I am so happy is tomorrow I leave for my annual girlfriend craft retreat. This year it will be 20 of us in a really amazing cozy inn in Jackson NH.  I usually go for 3 days but add another this year to really have fun with the girls.  As many of you may know, preparing for a crop can be a full time job in itself.  I always plan to bring less.  I am not sure I succeeded but I plan on working on some cards for my shop, dabble with a mixed media project, work on the structure for a mini album and get caught up on my Project Life album.  When I had spread out everything on floor in my craftroom to determine what would make the cut, my husband saw it and said, “It looks like your desk threw up.”

I love using the sterilite to transport projects.

So we will see what I am actually able to acheive. I am a big believer in the balance of the social aspect of crops and that you have to have a mix the crafting with the talk.  So I don’t have a goal this time around.

All packed!!

All packed!!

I am going to keep this short and wish you all a great week.

If you haven’t learned about this amazing creative journey you can take every Wednesday, then head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Have a blessed day!

  2. Well you look very organized for a 3 day crop! I think you deserve a medal for fitting everything into those few containers! I am a bring the kitchen sink kind of girl…I have been trying to organize myself to avoid falling back into that rut. Smetimes i suceed and pack like you and other times…well let’s just say i might need a truck!

  3. Thanks for the visit to my place!! I really must persevere and get used to a thimble ’cause the next quilt will be full sized and my finger will not cope with it!!!

  5. Oh you do look like you are planning a great time at your retreat ! I think no girl should EVER pack light – it would let the whole sisterhood down if anyone of us admitted we didn’t need extensive luggage !!!
Hope you & your friends have a great fun time at the retreat ! Do post us next week all your creations ! Take care Ali #22
