Hello friends! I’m back. I took two weeks off. One due to the Hurricane Sandy and the other just flat out having too much to do. We faired well with this storm. The boys did not have school as a precaution but we did not bare the brunt of the storm like places in New York and New Jersey. My prayers go out to all of them. The weather is getting more unsettled over the years. So nerve-wracking.
Onto my desk. Well let’s just say, when it’s clean, we must celebrate because once I dive into most projects, it gets buried under products. So let me tell you what you are seeing: The red box-like items are some shadow-box cards I am making for my shop. The print out underneath is of my latest purchase for my Cricuit Expression 2 (CE2), a digital cartridge from designer Terry Collins. I never used the function to download a digital cartridge and use on the CE2. So I have to say I like the speed of accessing a great cartridge but I don’t know if I am going to do it for most purchases because I don’t like that I must have internet access to use it. Anyway, I digress.
You can see some colored up Christmas fairies I made for some cards I am working on. There are also 2 new cards the right that I created at a crop this weekend. I need to upload them to my Etsy shop. Speaking of coloring, you can see some of my Copics waiting to be refilled. I have had the refills for over a week but haven’t gotten around to filling them.
In the Nantucket basket in the back you can see my yummy supply of 6×6 Christmas paper packs to use for holiday cards.
On the right you will see another thing that is exciting me lately. It’s this new Simple Stories Handmade Holiday line. I bought the 4×6 and 3×4 journaling cards. The colors are traditional and warm and I plan on using them both on cards and some scrapbooking projects.
The basket behind it holds all of my latest stamps that will be inked up as soon as I push through my winter and holiday cards.
I have to stop here because I have so much catching up to do visiting all my WOYWW friends.
If you haven’t learned about this amazing creative journey you can take every Wednesday, then head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.
Have a blessed day!

glad you fared the storm without much damage. My son lives in VA and he said it was mainly wind and heavy rains for him too! There was a tornado spawned of Sandy in Canada….yukk! Great looking desk and fun things going on. Thanks for sharing and have a great week. Vickie #63

Love the pulled back view of your work space. You must have done a lot of colouring to be needing re fills already…I used to hate doing the refills too…that was 20 years ago when I was studying, I gave all mine away to a friends son who was going to do Graphic Design….silly me
So glad to hear you were spared the worst of the storm. It was a nighmare for so many.
Lovely busy creative desk there, thanks for sharing.
