Happy World Cardmaking Day! I thought I would share with you a card I made for my sister’s anniversary. I used the amazing Mo Manning’s digi of this lovely bride and groom and colored them up with my Copics. I love the fall color of the envelop I used from Paper Source.
I have quite a lot of embossing plates (many unused) so I pulled out one that I thought looked elegant and embossed a white piece of cardstock that I attached to the front of the card.
Again the beauty of using digital stamps is that you can resize he images. So I decided to make them companion bookmarks. I used an MFT bookmark die to cut the bookmarks. Then I used a really great hemp cord to attach these beautiful vintage soaring bird charms from Maya Roads that I bought years ago. I get so happy when I actually use up my supplies!
I hope you all have a great day and maybe find time to make a little card today for World Cardmaking Day!
Beautiful! Very elegant!
Thanks Joan. I really like the detail of this embossing plate.
