I am the first to admit, I am not to good with math but I can’t figure out how 4 people can make this much laundry in what feels like a very short period of time. Look how it’s exploding out of the baskets.
I usually wash a couple loads a day but sometimes, life and work get in the way and this is the result – a back load of madness. My husband and I sometimes watch this show called Man vs. Nature and there is another one called Man vs Food. Well I decided this is my show – ‘Mom vs. Laundry’! The chronicle of my daily battle with mountains of laundry! I am still on the fence as to whether this photo should be included in “Fun Photo Friday” since there is absolutely nothing fun about laundry. But I thought it might make us laugh nonetheless.
I hope you all have a blessed weekend!
I hate to tell you this but it only gets worse as they get older and the clothes get larger!
Good luck!
Oh Joan, must you be the voice of reason? 🙂 I hope they will help me when they get older but that probably won’t happen very of often.
I have always been behind on laundry. I don’t know what it is about laundry. I think it multiplies in the basket just like the dryer eats socks. 🙂
the flylady says do one load a day everyday. It’s a good idea, but I’ve had trouble putting it into action.
Have a great weekend.
April
April I too believe in the sock monster in the dryer!! 🙂 Lately, I have been washing and then taking forever to fold and put away. Pushing the button is easy but the rest pure yuck!
I love your idea of a TV show. I bet it would be a hit being so many people can relate. My boys are out of the nest now. I miss them but not the laundry! I can remember folded clothes in the dirty clothes pile as they got older, yuck! Have a great weekend and you made me laugh. Perfect post!
The tricky part is not to be fooled by the sudden euphoria you feel when you have washed the clothes and see an empty hamper. For it is a short-lived victory indeed!!
