What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday – #429

Hello, I’m back WOYWW friends! It has been a very long time since I joined in the fun of snooping on craft desks around the world. My last WOYWW post was over 3 years ago. Can you believe it? Where does the time go?  I think moving forward I will manage my expectations and aim to create my WOYWW post a minimum of twice a month.  That way I won’t find myself overwhelmed.  For those of you that aren’t familiar with WOYWW (What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday),  head on over to Julia’s Stamping Ground and you will find desks from all around the world for What’s on Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Today I have a semi-tidy desk because I have actually been putting in some creative hours.  I spent much the first half of my summer vacationing with my family and neglecting my wonderful garden and now as school time has arrived for at least of one of my children, I am finding the pull to come back to my craft room and play.

So in the picture on the left are two books that I recently read that need to write reviews for to post in my Book Nook section. You can also see some cute stamps from the Target’s dollar section. I used the dumbell stamp in my planner for workout days.

One thing I also have been doing is revisiting online classes that I purchased and never completed. So in the center of the desk, you see the result of a bit of color theory with my Copics.  My goal is to complete all the courses I own this year over the next few months.

On the right of my planner is the most beautiful kit I purchased from Papertrey Ink in May. I received it right before I started my vacations in June and have yet to crack the seal and use them. So another item I have placed in my line of sight to promote action.

Well enough about my desk, I am off to come see your desks.

I hope you all have a blessed day.

Belinda

  1. Hi Belinda, pleased to meet you. I am relatively new to WOYWW as my blog has only been going for 2 years. Hope you manage to do as much crafting done as you would like and complete those courses. Happy WOYWW Sarah #25

  2. Belinda, thanks so much for dropping by my blog earlier! 🙂 You sound like me with your goings ons! Love all of your stash on your desk and I’m going to try to get “goal oriented” as well and do the same…..try to finish up some unfinished projects! Unfortunately, I want to do IT ALL!!! LOLOL, Not really realistic when you have a full-time job and kiddos in school, but I guess I think I am Superwoman! LOLOL I LOVE to read as well, so I will definitely be checking out your “book nook” section! So glad to have met you, if only online, and hope to see some great projects in the near future! Blessings to you! 🙂 Felicia, #32

  3. That looks like a very interesting notebook you have and too bad the picture can’t be zoomed in, because I would love to know what it says above the color chart!

    • Hello and welcome to my blog. The color chart is called a HexChart and it is only sheet. I am a Copic colorist. The sheet helps me see what colors I own and also helps me select colors when I am coloring. I bought it from Sandy Allnock’s website.

  4. Hi Belinda. Good to see you. Now that colouring looks good fun. I have loads of unfinished projects and bits – my hubby used to call them my Unfinished symphonies!!!
    Take care. God bless.

  5. Ooh I totally need to do that too, I have a bunch of online classes I have bought and glanced at and only finished a couple of them. what a good reminder. 🙂 Welcome back Belinda, & thanks for the earlier visit, ~Stacy #32

  6. Hi Belinda, You didn’t leave your number, but as this is the only Belinda on Julia’s list, it is you.

Looks like you have been busy. Loving the colours.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

    Happy WOYWW

    • Hi Sue! I’m out of practice and totally forgot to leave my number. There used to be another Belinda when I used to participate so I had to remember. Thanks for the visit.

  7. Hello Belinda! I’m usually a once monthly desker, although this month I’ve been abel to cram in some more desk-hopping fun. I myself began a couple of years back, so I couldn’t recall seeing your desk before. Glad to meet you!
    Happy WOYWW!

  9. Hi Belinda, pleased to meet you. This is my second week at WOYWW and I am enjoying it. At the moment I’m not at work on Wednesdays, so it’s easy for me, but that will change next month. I love the little dishes on your desk, and your planner. Your desk looks quite clutter free, it must be a pleasure to sit and craft there. Have a lovely week, Heather #30

    • Thank you Heather! I love pretty colored storage items. The dishes are actually that little bowls but I decided they would serve a purpose on my desk so I place washi tape in one and odds and ends in the other.

  10. Ohh love all your craft goodies. Have a great week xx Jan (42)

  11. Hi Belinda, love the colouring exercises. I need to do something like that. Would help me a great deal. Add it to the list of things to do, lol. Have a lovely day, Hugs, Shaz #4 Xx

    • Hello, Shaz! I don’t mean to add to your list, hee hee. Yes, this year, I would like to say I actually completed my online classes. They are supposed to be easier because we can do them at our own pace except mine tends to be a turtle’s pace! Thanks for the visit.

  12. You certainly don’t have a lack of things to do! I love online classes, and sometimes I even do them more than once! Love the flowers on your desk! Have a great week, thanks for sharing! Lindart #35

  13. Popular girl!!! I need to finish a couple of courses I have signed up for too… and maybe play with that same kit you have! XXOO

    • Hey girly girl!!! I think I became an online class collector because I have so many unfinished and to be honest, I look forward to revisiting them because they were fun. Yes, let’s play with our kit soon! It’s too beautiful to collect dust.

  14. Ah how nice to see you Belinda. You will see from my Blog that i too have been ‘managing expectations’ and very often only manage a WOYWW post every week…but it’s OK, we’re all busy people, for a large number of reason! It’s great to see your desk again, still full of lovely stuff and covered in nice light. Will enjoy seeing you now and then!

    Have a great day!
